The listing, NEW YORK CITY SUBWAY TOKEN has ended.

This is a real New York City subway token. I don't know if it's from the 1960s or 1970s. (Can someone help me out here?) One side says New York City Transit Authority. The other side says Good For One Fare.

This was actually found with a metal detector in the Atlantic Ocean by my father many years ago.

Judging by your picture looking at the letter "c" you will see 3 distinct lines within the letter and a fourth just outside touching. The only token that comes close is the 1966 Aqueduct Racetrack special token, 1966. Excellent piece of NY history, a real find. Good Luck on your Auction!
