The listing, Brand New Gold and CZ Ring Elevated Oval Cut Lustrous Fine Jewelry Ring Size 8.5 has ended.

14K Gold ring (EDIT - removed 'over sterling' it tests positive for pure 14K), Fine Cut Cubic Zirconia in a very sturdy, elevated base. So much luster! This is a fine piece. It's in a Palm Beach box but this is higher quality than a Palm Beach ring (and those are pretty decent rings); but this piece came from a Dillard's Fine Jewelry counter. Impulse buys are not good when you work with your hands all day!

UPDATE: I did examine the ring with my jeweler's loupe. It has the following stamps on it: 14K, MEDA, and CHINA.

I tested it with a gold testing solution (my mom is a jewelry nerd and actually keeps a kit, lucky me, so I ran over to borrow it =D). It hits the test for 14K gold. Then my mom offered to buy it, to which I responded, "No mom, you may not." Then I stole a Diet Pepsi (we live next door to each other).

@cindy This is actually stamped as a 14K, no electroplating. I think MEDA is a maker's mark.... I've seen something similar on Palm Beach rings tbh, but this one also has a CHINA stamp. I'm going to grab my testing kit for gold and run it, because I don't typically pay much attention if the price is right, so typically I buy electroplated gold, not 'pure'. I'll get digital zoom on my iphone going to get you an updated auction listing with the stamp and update with the results if this is a pure 14K. Thanks for the questions, and it IS super pretty! The way the focal gem is seated is so eye-catching!

Thanks to Cindy's question I discovered this is actually NOT a gold over silver. It's pure gold. It is 14K. Love ya, Listians!
