These little stocking repair kits were given out by Real Silk sales representatives, probably to lingerie shops who then gave them to customers. I place this in the 1940's, based on the clothing style of the woman in the graphic. Stocking were at a premium during WWll and were heavier than they are today. Repairing a hole or run was a necessity! The Real Silk Hosiery Company was located in Indianapolis and was in business between 1922 and 1952.

You can see the condition in the photos. It was used. You can faintly see the salesman's name and 4 digit phone number! Not too bad for approx. 70 year old paper!
