The listing, Blender, Black & Decker Cyclone has ended.

Heavy duty glass blender with 10 settings and also low/high button. Has a chip in plastic piece that inserts into the lid, but I never used that piece anyway. Has cord storage underneath which is nice. All the components of the pitcher come apart for easy cleaning.

Will the chip on the plastic effect the way it functions? For example will it let out any contents while blending?

Absolutely not! The chip is located where the piece actually slides down into the lid so it is covered.

I don't know if that's the info you were looking for, but you can Bing it and there is plenty of info on it, just too much for me to read and not enough time to do it.
