The Sad Sack original comics (bound copy), by sgt George Baker. Copyright 1944 - Third Printing. Interesting book. Found at flea market. Cover has some stains but spine in VG condition. Pics above show condition. Also the wartime printing restrictions (paper quality, etc.) Pic 5 above shows inside cover and pic 6 shows small area of pull away of back cover from spine. Still binding pretty tight.

Was not exactly sure to list this with antiques, books or comics, but hopefully will get good exposure here.

Added bonus value is the book was presented to Rosemary Schindler in 1945 by her "daddy." Rosemary is the great niece of famed Oskar Schindler and she was the founder of Schindler's Ark (also the original name of book "Schindler's List" Schindler's Ark is an organization commemorating not only work by Schindler but a memorial to Holocaust survivors and families.

I find old books fascinating and when there is even a bit more history, makes them appreciated so much more.
