these were my mother in law's pride and joy, she displayed them every Christmas ! we have no place to put them.

all are either 14 inches or 15 inches high and hand painted

the first picture shows all of them.

the second picture left and right:

1. looks Swedish but I am not sure;
2. I am sure that this gent is old mr. scrooge-cracker !

third picture left to right are:

1. not sure, but he has a long white faux fur cape hanging down his back and bells on his staff
2. this blue guy reminds of me of how I think nutcrackers should look, but I am not sure what he represents
3. this guy in the tall black faux fur hat with feather and kilt looks Scottish (English?) to me

fourth picture left and right:

1. this guy is carrying a sack but I am not sure who he is
2. the guy on the right in a tall faux fur black hat is some sort of military person but I am not sure what type, he does have a scabbard (sword?)

they have the natural dings and dangs that come with old age and you may want to add a few things - but they are lovely to look at and truly will brighten anyones' Christmas !

The one with the bag is Santa Claus. The one in the front is probably a priest or bishop. The others are probably different versions of soldiers which are part of the Nutcracker Prince's army.

You don't mention any manufacturer's marks or if they have stickers, made in China???? Usually these are on the bottom.
