Morganite’s color range includes pink, rose, peach, and salmon. In today’s market, the pink and rose tints are more fashionable. The peach and salmon hues seem less popular, but some collectors value untreated peach-colored material more highly than heat-treated pink stones.

The gem is almost always heat-treated to improve the pink color. The treatment is not detectable. Heat drives off the yellow or orange tinge, leaving a purer and more attractive pink. The resulting color is stable and won’t fade.

The above information is from http://www.gia.edu/morganite-quality-factors

So while this one is pinkish orange which is the color commonly attributed to Morganite. You should know by me enough by now to know that I do my best to avoid stone enhancement unless it is a really popular one such as Mystic Topaz or Aqua Aura which have some really great vibrations. So while this is no orange orange...it is a a pinkish orange. It is Morganite on that you have my word, however by all means you don't have to take my word on it. I always encourage people to research on their own. Also please keep in mind I take horrible pics as I have explained to many on several occasions. My phone and I agree don't when it comes to the quality I want and the quality I get phone it. =)
I always appreciate questions and am very happy to discuss the stones and this gave me an excellent chance to do so. If I didn't get you question answered to you satisfaction keep at me and I will keep trying.
Have a Fantastic Friday and a Wonderful Weekend. Blessings to you. ~Namaste

Oh no, I have done research on it, lol, I even looked again to make sure I was right before commenting. Yes, pink, rose, peach, salmon=pink to me, all of it. I never had any love for the color, so all the lighter shades like what morganite comes in is just light pink to me and the darker shades are dark pink or hit pink. It's the blues and greens and greys that I know the different shades for and will ream you for calling it something it's not, lol. As for the rest of what you said, ah, I see. Interesting.
