No I mostly go for walleye northerns and musky but trout are my favorite to chase through the ice and I fly fish when those are out of season or it too hot to find them

The most north I have fished is Maine and it was for trout. Those walleye's are huge. I have Northern King lures(5"), the old silver ones that say they are for salmon, trout and walleye in many colors.

Ah! Flies, don't like to talk about them. I brought back my dad's fly's after he passed and they are everywhere in my office carpet. I am talking about probably 10,000 or more flies. lol I collect stamps, that is my relaxing thing is to sort them out.

Sweet I've found that some of the older lures work better than most of the new stuff

My biggest walleye was 19lb 6 oz and it was caught while I trout fishing. The sad thug about that is I hooked him deep in the gills and it didn't live. I took it home and flayed him so as to not waste the meat and in his stomach was a four pound rainbow trout

And sorry to hear about your dads fly collection. They can defiantly be a pain if they get dropped or snagged in carpet

I have his new old stock lures hanging up and the glue is drying from the packages so they drop on the floor and get hooked in the carpet instantly. Do you hunt too?

Awesome. My husband finally got to go deer hunting this year, we moved back to N.C. after being in Texas for 7 years and the only decent hunting is for hogs and the fishing is awful with all the slow moving water and it is usually to hot to fish anyway. So we were happy to move anywhere north of Texas.

Yea that's true I've got an uncle in Louisiana and the only thin to hunt there is squirrels and alligators but they do have great pan fish populations of crappies and sunnies

Don't forget the crawfish.(I don't touch those.lol) Looks like the Flash-King's bids are high enough to add another lure. One of each color.
