THE LEGEND....In February of 1941 St.Albans Church in London was partially destroyed during the German Blitz.After WW II,during the reconstruction of St.Albans;a previously unknown room was uncovered.Within this room were found relics from the early 19th Century.Among those treasures were parts to a long-forgotten game.
In April of 1986 Brian Hersch first saw those game components.Though only the name and parts of the game remained,Hersch began the task of reconstructing that ancient game.
The name of the game was,and is once more..........outburst.
Outburst was originally played by Andilusion Monks who had forsaken their vows of silence and were preparing to return to the popular culture of their time.The game literally resulted in an "outburst"of all the pent-up,everyday knowledge left unspoken for so long.
