The pilgrims brought these plants to the colonies on the Mayflower. Who knows maybe one of my Great (times 11) Grandfathers, John Alden or Frances Cooke, brought them over.

Easy to grow, sunny or partial shade, most any soil type except too wet. Be sure to check the leave and flowers because I always wondered what happened to my mother's silver dollars and discovered 12 years later I had been pulling them up because I thought they were weeds. No kidding either!

Make wonderful arrangements and displays for the winter months.

The seeds have been stratified and can be planted immediately.
