The listing, 14k "waitin for K8lun" diamond ring has ended.
I dont know the exact carat of the diamond and i tried to get the best pics of the ring that i could. In the process i found an app that adds a little flava to a pic so good to know! I actually got a ring size chart, unfortunately i need to figure out how to use it properly so i'll post a size in the next day or two in description. As always, i ships em free.
Questions & Comments
Very nice auction! I have a question, not sure how to explain it though.... I am curious about how the stone is set. Can you see the bottom part of the diamond?? Like the pointy part? Does that make since? :O
you think the question was tough? the answer is worst but I'm going to barney it as best i can. i can see the bottom point. now granted i have high intense LED lights all pointed at it and a jeweler, thing. magnifier. theres more gold rails holding the rock so its hard to see between them and this thing is filty under that much magnification. thank u for ur question. i am now stressed out. i guess i better go clean a ring
lmao!!! fanned and watching! since i just won, then never received and am having to request a refund on credits from another seller....who cost me getting an amazing proposal last night, i'm lookin for another one! and hoping this one actually gets sent out!
Haha, Noooooo.......I didn't mean to stress you out. I don't care if it is dirty either. I was mainly wondering if the bottom of the diamond was encased in gold, or if there were prongs holding it up. If there are just prongs holding it up there is a better chance it is a real diamond. For whatever reason they do not fully incase diamonds. Some people say they need to "breath" others say it's so the light can shine through....idk but "more gold rails holding the rock" might be the answer I am looking for.....don't stress out umkay? :)
okay i'm gonna have to revert back to my old ways. this ring is smaller than a dime. when i lay the ring on the dime they are close to the same size. thats the outer part of the ring tho. i cant describe it better.
I had the same thing happen to me. Found and won the ideal ring, and the stupid lady auctioning it never replied to any emails and then finally just requested the credits back also. Way NOT to start your first listing as a newbie! Some people! lol Thank you for the entertainment tonight. This is a fun thread. :) Fanned!!!
This is a nice ring. I too am a jeweler. I agree with the other jeweler. My dad was also a jeweler and my mom and sister love modeling all the pretties he and I have made. It is a great auction and yes, quite entertaining! Good luck to you...Fanned and watching!
I've actually got a similar ring size 10 that I bought as a Stay the hell away from me ring for when I went out to the bars lol :-)
Spent bout $110 on it 14K with a CZ in the setting :-) Its got the 6 prong like yours. I may have to put it up for grabs since you got so much action on yours. :-)
Very nice ring, I agree with some earlier statements. 2mm/3mm Band, ring dates about 25-35 years old, 6 prongs (most likely real) Not a new setting, jewelers don't set this way anymore. Round stone, can not really tell facets by pic but can say it will sparkle, yellow gold 14K. Overall, beautiful!!! Fanned u and watching, excellent auction!
