Posed by Mrs Mary Maurice, a Vitagraph player. American Vitagraph was a United States movie studio, founded by J. Stuart Blackton & Albert E. Smith in 1897 in Brooklyn, New York. By 1907 it was the most prolific American film production company, producing many famous silent films. It was bought by Warner Bros. in 1925.
Written in 1915 in the middle of World War 1 this 6 pages of sheet music is full of wonderful voice and instrumental! Last back cover page has 4 short Irish Ballads. Published in New York by M Witmark & sons it is in excellent condition with a prior owners name on the front. (Ruth Ripley). Music is in tact, slight yellowing with age ( 100 years this month!) and a perfect mom's day gift! Even to self! Cover colors are shades of grey. Great for music students and teachers for graduations.
