Hi there! The shorts lengthen as they reach the outer thigh. The inner thigh length is 7.5 inches. Outer thigh reaches 9 inches.

For some, yes I suppose. It depends on how tall the wearer is. I've posted the measurements so everyone can see how the shorts fit them individually -- it'd be impossible to generalize a label that is suitable for all.
