The listing, Apple Ipod Touch 2nd Gen 8 gb has ended.

Second generation ipod touch. Works great no cracks or chips on the screen, a few light scratches on the back (chrome back). Also included is a Skull Candy Pipe dock station with speakers, The speakers sound aweful but it still works good for a charging station. Also comes with the stock usb cable. This is a second generation so please do your research and know what you are getting as the ipod touch has changed drastically over the different generations. Any questions please feel free to ask, I will answer as quickly as I can.

According to Apple, the 8GB iPod can hold up to 2,000 songs, up to 7,000 photos, up to 8 hours of video, or some of each.

Thank you for the correction, (I dont know if I can possibly screw up my first auction any more than I have). This is a 1st gen, after some research the 2nd gen has an oval antenna, 1st gen has the "squared" antenna. I apologize for the wrong info, please bid accordingly.

Not exactly sure, too tech for me! I bought it new and just used it as normal. I think there are certain apps that wont run on the original software. If you "jailbreak" it they can run but you have to modify the operating system. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong but that is my understanding.

No, all the research I can find says bluetooth chip is not present in the 1st gen ipod. If anybody knows different please let me know.

Awesome auction, I heard ITouchs have free texting, Is that true with this ITouch ? Oh and does it have wifi ? Like can you connect to wireless internet easily ? I am sorry if my questions seem silly i jve just wanted a ITouch for a long while but never had one.

yes it has wifi, it connects anywhere wifi is available. I am not sure about the texting thing, maybe an app but I would do your own research on that one. I was always very happy with it, my phone does everything (internet, mp3, etc.) so I just don't use the touch anymore. I figured someone else could enjoy it and I wanted to try out listia so here it is.
