Description

The listing, FIRST AIDE CHRONIC WOUND CARE has ended.

I've listed 3 UNOPENED new old stock MEDICAL MANUKA HONEY DRESSINGS that are each 3"by 8".I've also included in this listing 1 new OLD STOCK UNOPENED non stick 3"by 8" gauze pad. I've used these products myself and LOVE THEM BOTH. They have all been stored in a cool dry place to preserve the dressing properly. Medical manuka honey products are very costly. Some dressings being sold on the market can go as high as $55 each. Usually the generic manuka honey dressings are far more affordable. These dressings I've listed today were purchased at CVS LONGS for $3.99 each for the honey dressings and only. 99 cents for the non stick gauze pad. I share this info so you'll understand my asking price. I need to get close to what I paid out. I will offer free shipping to all USA WINNERS and exact shipping for any international winner.i suggest go ogling "medical manuka honey "on Wikipedia to learn about the many wonderful health benefits.

Any questions, please comment or message me. I'll respond to all inquiries.

THANK YOU, GOOD LUCK

Fanned and Watching! I went to a university where one group of students did a clinical research project with the effects of some type of honey and i think this might have been it. I would like for my grandmother to try this. I understand this is the medical grade kind-sterlized and all :)

My grandmother has had on/off leg ulcers for over 8 years. It grows larger, then recedes, then with some massage and topical treatments, it went away and now it's back again. She's seen doctors (did not help), herbalists, shamans, faith healers etc but the effect is not permanent. Your experiences could surely help. Thank you!

I'veused these dressings myself, even brought them to my last hospitalization. My surgeon recommends these to patients. Once the chronic wound is past a certain point, there's no other recourse but surgical intervention.manuka honey products are extremely expensive. These dressings cost me $3.99 each.if your grandmother likes them or has good results I've found the cheapest place to buy them is off a certain competing website .I'll give you the name of it in a personal message. The only drawback is these should be changed a minimum of twice a day, more if there's heavy exude (drainage)from the wound.i thought by listing them on listia it would give someone a chance to try the dressings without having to put out big bucks. In fact I need to check on the listing.chat again soon!

There usually is not heavy exudate but before it looked like flesh eating disease which it wasn't thankfully. It was a strange leg ulcer, it would shrink in one area, then look like it "jumped" to another area on her leg then shrink again, then move on. The doctors she went to are local provincial doctors and not the big city experienced doctors (due to financial reasons). If she's tried almost everything out there, I'm sure she can try this. She's used to changing her dresses or having them changed more than twice a day before. Thank you!

Recently, the wounds have been more superficial and not as close to the bone as before. I understand this should be used on superficial wounds and surgery (debridement) should be done on deep open wounds. She is a very clean person, but pretty sedentary due to her arthritis but she does try to walk around her room and kitchen. I know for a fact it is not decubitous ulcers but probably venous ulcers? She does elevate her feet at night and the massage did help to stimulate circulation in her legs which decreased the swelling in her feet and legs but her sedentary nature is not helping.
