According to coin trackers, this coin is worth no less than $15 and up to $200 depending on grade. This one has seen the world, that's for sure, but sometimes that's what makes them beauties.

Uncirculated coins don't interest me much as I like to imagine where a coin has been. Perhaps an overworked fisherman slapped this coin down on a bar to pay for a pint after a particularly grueling day on the water. Maybe on the very first Memorial Day, in 1868, this shiny, newly minted coin was used to purchase patriotic decor to honor the fallen soldiers of the civil war. The possibilities are just endless :-)
