I was wondering if Blanchard certifies the proof 65

Blanchard is not a certification service. They are a coin dealer.

Certificates of authenticity are worthless. You can take any piece of paper and sell it with a fake and naïve people feel safe but they are cheated non the less. Proof's now come with a Certificates of authenticity from the mint. I could take one of those and give to you. doesn't mean a darn thing. If you want a certified coin the ones most people have faith in are graded by companies like PCGS, NGC, ANACS, or IGC. These are industry standards. Most every coin dealer has the eye (talent) to grade coins. Blanchard has graded these as Proof 65. I have sold probably 20 of them on Listia and have not had one person dispute the grade. I feel it is warranted or I would not have put them up as PF65. Bottom line when you buy coins is to look a the coin and buy it for the coin. Remember your are buying the coin not a plastic holder or piece of paper.

I'm new to the coin collecting. I usually just do scrap silver but this is a beauty. I might just pick this one up. Thanks
