A question, what if the code is expired? Because they do expire, but there's no way to tell without entering them.

PINs are typically valid for 4 years after the release date. Skyward Sword was released in November of 2011 so it should be valid untill November of 2015.

But to ease any concern, I just spoke with a Club Nintendo representative, and yes this PIN is still active.

(Do keep in mind that this code, once won, should be used asap due to the nearing program discontinuation date.)

You can tell what products are eligible through the Club Nintendo link, since yes, Nintendo retires the points for some of their older stuff: https://club.nintendo.com/eligible-products.do
