The listing, lot of photographs beginning approx 100 yrs ago all with same woman starting when she was a teenager has ended.

These were all glued into an album with black construction type paper and removed a long time ago. The photograph in the first picture has been bent and the one on the porch has a torn corner. The smallest one lists the two girls by name on back, Mildred and Girty. The family had many girls. I believe the other small one is the oldest, the one with all the girls in the family and on the left is an old man in a suit by the family house.

Mildred Charlotte Oaks was born on Apr. 3 1902 in Hartford, South Dakota. She married and had a child. She died in Florida in 1982. Hartford is a very small town, there is an Oaks St in town and these pictures are of the Oaks family beginning in the late teens, early twenties of the last century.

Midlred is in all five pictures. In no particular order there is the one where she is with her hand on her hip with her sister Girty, one in a chair by herself later in life, one on some steps leading down from the porch where she is on the right heading to church?, the one where she is on the right again holding a football or helmet during a family outing wearing knickers in the back row, and in the last one she is again on the right hand side sitting down in the front row of 3 girls facing the camera.

revision: after looking further at the pictures the woman alone in the chair might be Mildred's mother, she looks similar to the woman in the photo containing the largest amount of people in this grouping where Mildred is wearing a boy's outfit and her sister has a jug of moonshine?
