Sorry I do not know. It is in a sealed package, so I did not test it. I will do some online research to see. Give me a bit and I will post another comment letting you know what I found out.

Ok, I found this site "http://www.ehow.com/about_5048341_microsoft-works.html" that has more info. It does not out right say this will run on XP, but it does say this

"Because there are a lot of different features associated with Microsoft Works 7.0, there is a lot of memory space required on a computer to install it and run it. In order to run Microsoft Works 7.0 on a Windows XP operating system, the computer needs nearly 500 MB. To install the software on Windows Vista, more than 800 MB is needed. Likewise, at least 256 MB of RAM is needed to run Works 7.0 on Windows XP and 1 GB is needed to run the program on Windows Vista. "
