Sweet Wooden Fairy Door ~ See Inside Opening ~ Fairy Room ~ OOAK Repurposed Old Wood Cigar Box!

An original, one-of-a-kind creation by mom, jeniferwilliams, and daughter, cleverBella. :)

This is a little Fairy Door that my daughter and I worked on together. It's darling, and I love it, but we have all the Fairy Doors we need around our home already. We still love to make these, and wanted to share the love with Listia.

This was made using repurposed wood from an old antique cigar box. One of the sides had cracked beyond repair, and I hadn't the heart to toss the whole box. My little girl, Bella, 9, thought the pieces would make great Fairy Doors, and they did. It was also Bella's idea to make this Fairy Door one that opens and peeks inside a Fairy's Loft. The wood has been sanded lightly and stained, then two coats of polyurethane spray were applied. There is a little doorknob and a working doorknocker, and the front door connects to the back panel by three brown leather cord ties. Bella's and my initials are on the back side.

This Fairy Door stands 4-3/4" high by 2-1/2" wide. The perfect size for any Fairy, friends and Wee Folk..
