Tomato stays green when ripe,these are fresh seed. I obtained mine from an amish farm that we visit every summer. I use these in spainish rice and goulash,mild flavor. 6 to 8 seeds is all I can spare.

do you know if this is the kind of tomatoes to use to make fried green tomatoes? just wondering.

well probaly not as being an old southern gal myself I take the red tomato before it ripens(green ones)and batter them,deep fry,awesome, I also make green tomato pickles, and I also chop green tomatos,okra,potatos,onion toss in a ziplock bag add some cornmeal to coat lightly and fry in nonstick skillet sprayed with Pam until tender, like I said I'm an country gal,thx the ones I have on auction are green even when ripe and they taste okay, I love trying all varities of veggies and I visit and amish farm every summer to check out their unusual and beautiful veggies

Another great auction...I already have all the unusual stuff from the Martins, The Amish family just over the hill from me, and a few others that live close by...When I saw this auction I called my wife to see and the first thing that we came up with is that this is how you make green ketchup...We are looking forward to trying that for sure...<><><>Fingers crossed<><><>
