Description

The listing, High Grade Error & Die Crack! has ended.

Upper nose missing in front of eyes and the die crack runs off the bottom of the wings like a lightning bolt to the rim, looks real cool! Thanks for watching and good luck bidders, this is an auction, no GIN!

your question about auctions or listings? meaning an auction with a GIN or not? I do not quite understand.
but the more important reason for the comment is there is not much more disappointing than looking at a coin in your picture, can barely see what you are speaking of, then clicking on the view larger and that picture comes up even smaller. :(

A listing is when an item is priced to sell at list price or 3 x list price and an auction starts at or below cost so bidding can take place and the item will go for current value, more or less!

I understand that now. you have to agree that it will always depend on the item. I have many items that I list that will start at 499 and let them go from there, even if I believe that it is worth quite a bit. I have learned that the bidders here on the collectables section know what everything is worth and will get them there.
but like the auction I have ending tomorrow, there is no way that I could have done that and hope that enough people would get it to what it really is worth because it could just go as a silver auction, not getting the attention of what it really is.
but you want to get an idea as to what everyone prefers... where an auction gives you the chance for a better deal, it is much more work and demands that you be there at the end, so if it came down to which I prefer, it would be a listing even though I do just place my max bids on an auction as well.
wow... I apologize for being so long winded just to say "listings" :)
