I am giving away a Brand new DESIGNER 22 series Safety 1st infants carseat with base! It's in the box, and the box has been opened (only by me). I had a girl and could NOT resist getting the pink model instead! I know I could sell this but it's taking up space and I never have the time to go sell stuff. Everything that should be in the box is there-instruction manual, registration card,locking clip, base, canopy, head support.
The car seat features Side Impact Protection and comfortable infant head support. The 5-point harness with up-front harness adjustment is easy to use, and the 3-position stay-in-car base lets you choose an angle that best suits your little one. Thanks for asking, but I am just not able to pay all the shipping or I would. As it is I am thinking the usps website may be giving me the wrong quotes because I really feel that the actual cost will be higher than my quotes. But I have agreed to pay the difference if it costs more. And I am trying to find the time to pull out some clothes/blankets to add to the box, which would probably make it cost more as well. Maybe while my children are at school in the morning I will be able to round up some stuff. I am about to update the listing to add some receiving blankets though :) Thank you so much for your bids!

Please be careful when shipping items like car seat's. The damage that *could* occur would be the same as a car wreck and could cause unknown damage to the seat. Please make sure to add packing peanuts, bubble wrap, ect. to the package for extra security.
This is why online companies ship via Fedex, UPS, because they are handled with more care than USPS.
And why it is advised against checking car seats at airports, because they are not handled with care and can cause the same amount of damage as a car wreck.

I have a 16yo, 13yo, 6yo, and 5yo, plus my 11 month old baby. lol Since my baby is a girl, I keep reminding myself that most of the people bidding on this carseat are not interested in hairbows unless they don't know yet what they are having boy or girl :) I used to sell on ebay and quit last year so when I say pull stuff out I mean get past all this girl stuff and grab the boy (formerly ebay) totes lol I had to quit ebay because they kept changing all the rules all the time and I just couldn't keep up! You just reminded me: Tradition has it that when a baby daughter was born in Japan, the family would plant a Paulownia (AKA Royal Empress) Tree and by the time she was ready for marriage they would cut down that tree and use the hardwood to build a wedding/hope chest for her.
