This little hardcover book (only 48 pages long), was purchased at a library sale after it was withdrawn from circulation. Although copyrighted in 2003, it is still chock full of many interesting and informative facts (such as the state bird, the state flower, the state tree, the state muffin [it even includes a recipe for the state Blueberry Crumble], the state fish, the state mushroom, the state grain, the state gemstone, the state drink, and the state butterfly). It even includes the words to the state song ["Hail Minnesota"]. This book would make a wonderful addition to anyone's library, but especially to those with children whom are learning about the wonderful United States of America!
