What about the product codes I was under the impression that rosetta stone limited the number of pc's it could be used on? OR are the lessons files on the cds and not installed on the pc? Also which edition or year was this put out? Sorry for the million questions!

This is Version 3. I know that with version 4, they put new restrictions in place. You will be able to put this one on at least 2 computers... just DO NOT RE-REGISTER IT. It is already registered with me, so if you try to re-register it in your name, it will not work. Just upload it. Do not register it. And you will be fine.

I have several reasons: First, I wanted to give people who normally cannot afford this great program, a chance to get it. Second, I wanted to see how many credits I could get for it.... Hopefully it pays off. Thirdly, I have seen other people give things away on here worth $1500 or more.... So I figured, "Why Not????"

I do not have a receipt. I traded a really nice guitar for it to give to my Fiancee, when she was still just a girlfriend, when she told me that her job was now requiring all employees to become proficient in a second language. Two weeks after I traded for this, her job annonced that they were purchasing one for every employee. We don't need two of them, so this one is being given away. It was new and unused when I traded for it.

One more question, has this been deactivated from your computer? I really want to bid but I'm worried it won't install in my computer and Rosette Stone customer service is known to be the worse. If you don't have the original receipt they will not help you at all.

I know exactly what you mean. I have a receipt for Italian... I bought it at Borders. And I still had such a hard time with them. I eventually figured things out myself, but I was not pleased with them. I will never call them for help again. Horrible Service!!! But yes... this one is uninstalled... and it was properly done, so you will still be able to load this onto 2 computers. Just remember to NOT REGISTER IT. My fiancee registered the Italian one on her computer after I had done so on mine, and that is when we had the problems.... Permanantly screwed it up!!! And I had the receipt... which I had to pay a faxing service to fax them a copy of my certified original... Horrible experience!!! Therefore we learned our lesson so that we did not make the same mistake with the Spanish. Please do not make that mistake too.

If by any chance we are not able to load on our computer because this has already been registered to your name and your computer IP address will you be willing to take the return for full credits back?? these Rosetta items can be really tricky if you are not the original buyer, I want to bid my husband needs this, but afraid :(

This particular program has been installed and uninstalled on 4 different computers because of moving and new computers. Have not had a problem with it.

However, if you try to re-register it with your computer or your name, or any other form of re-registering it, I will not take it back or refund the credits, because it will be rendered useless at that time.

So, as long as you just upload and use it, it will work perfectly. That is guarenteed and covered in my return policy.

I will include my phone number, also. In case the winner needs help installing properly.
