These are beautiful shams, not only are they of excellent quality, they were made in India. the brand is a high dollar brand (Nautica) located in New York, NY. These shams are expertly made, down to the last detail. First the color of the top of sham is a light tan, large enough for a LARGE pillow. The back side of the sham is a dark brown, this side has a opening for the pillow plus it has the matching buttons to close up the opening. You could turn them either way and they would look nice. One other extra detail I noticed that the shams were sewed together around the edges, which looks gives them extra detail. These are in my opinion a high $ pair of shams.
