This is a cute little digital camera that is designed to take 25 pictures and to be a locket. This camera is working and the software and USB to mini USB is included as well as the original manual. This camera is designed to be worn around the child's neck, but the neck chain has a safety feature so it comes apart if it gets caught on something.

does this look new enough to use as a gift?? And what ages is it for?

It has a bit of scuffing on the clear part on the back that goes over a photo, but other than that it looks to be in great condition. The manual doesn't specify what ages it is for but I would consider that if the child is too young to use a computer, they will need assistance to see their pictures. I hope this helps :-)
