Description
The listing, Cubic Zirconia Ring with Sterling Silver bandf has ended.
This is a size 7 ladies cubic Zirconia Ring. The band is Sterling Silver, the Cubic Zirconia stone set in the middle is large and free of scratches, and as are the rest that surrounded. Also it is rather Shiny.
My eye sight is a bit poor when it comes to seeing this mall markings. There is something that says "6 " or it could be "9". I can barely make it out at all. I do not see any other markings.
ok so if this turns out not to be true sterling silver do you have a problem with a refund? thanks I am going thru a hassle with another seller right now as he listed 6 rings and stated they were all real sterling silver and so before I bid on them I once again asked him since they had no markings on them if he was sure they were sterling silver? he again said yes I am a retailer and ordered these for my store and yes they are sterling silver, well when I got them they were all rusted on the bands and he is now saying oh well maybe they werent sterling silver and I am having to spend my money to ship them back to him in order to get a refund of my credits, heck if I would have known they were junk I surely would not have bid on them, ugh sorry for the explanation I just am tired of dealing with people who misrepresent their items then Listia seems to condone it.Im not making any accusations on your auction just want to know what your refund policy is. thanks
Okay, I should tell you this now then. It might not be real as I have no proof. I think it;s real. It looks like sterling silver but there are no markings. To the best of my knowelege it is and my aunt says it is... But like I couldn;t tell fake from a real, unless it had like spray paint on it.
So if it's for jewelry store you should probably get it some where else.
Something ate my first comment I'm confused. I think it is sterling silver, but I am not %100 percent positive. I bought it on E-bay and it said it was sterling silver. It looks like sterling silver to me, but like, I have no idea about metals. It could be stainless steal. I'm just some rando m college student. I got it for...ten dollars? Does that mean anything? I don;t know much about jewelelry but I bought it because it was shiney. The user had good feed back, so I figured they weren't lying. I don;t know how refund works. Like s getting our credits back. Do they vanish. Is one of us at fault? If you want to sell it at jewellry store, since I can;t verify it you might not want to take the risk. sorry to dissapoint you.
Also if you list those other ones with free shipping in about a week (Ei once I have more cre3diots, lawlk) I'll totally buy them from you so I can repolish them and sell them.
Even if you don;t want my rings, I feel bad that you got screwed over and would like to help. What sort of rings are they, and like can I get the rest off, and if not, are what ever stone is in them shiny looking? Cause I'm sort of like a mag-pie and will bid just on shinyness.
I have also had problems with sellers misrepresenting either themselves, their 'story' behind why they were trying get rid of the item AND their listings state things like; "100% sterling silver" or "ss" and I end up getting a plated piece of jewelry. I ALWAYS ask, "is it solid sterling, sterling filled, or sterling plated/dipped?" I have also found out that that precious .925 stamp can be stamped on any of the above.
I'm sorry that you all keep having problems with this. I think I may need to learn about more about jewelry and metals before I list things. I did not know that there were all these different types of sterling silver and things.
@_______@ This is...a lot more complicated than I though.
Ye i know, but all these rings rusted and he isnt even caring at all but in order to get my credits back from him i have to ship the rings back to him, i have submitted the pictures of the rings to listia but they just say we did not see them in the condition they were shipped in or received in so they cant do anything other then have me ship them back to him, i told them listen he showed them in a ring case which covered over half of the rings so you couldnt see the rust on the bands. but they wont do anything to punish him for misrepresenting the items. i think its a load but nothing i can do really but spend more money then he did originally to ship with confirmation and so they dont get anymore damage then what already is on them so he cant say hey these arent in the same condition i sent them to her in?
...That's messed up. Okay, tell me what you would have to pay to ship; them to him and what you payed for credits. If that seems reasonible, AND something I can afford I will take them as is, with rust and all. He still gets the bad review and comments, you get credits and money, and I get something shiny.
Would this help you or am I missing the point. (I do that a lot)
Wow! I've never had a problem with lIstia giving me back my credits for idiots who misrepresent their rings. I had one guy give me the excuse of the size being wrong because he confused his SHOE size for the actual size of the ring. Can you believe that? How can you confuse a 9.5 shoe for a ring that is about 4 sizes smaller? It was a 5.5 for sure because it fit my ring finger! And then he was a jerk about it. When I send my letters to LIstia for refunds though, I'm very to the point and I leave no "wiggle room" for the seller to get out of it. Guess I'm just really good at that?? I am a law student! lol
Anyway, I love this ring a lot! Have you seen if a magnet will attach to it? If a magnet is attracted to the ring, it's definitely not solid sterling and has other metal in it. The 925 really can be stamped on anything. I have a few rings that were sold at the drugstore I used to work for that were touted at sterling, but they were plate for sure, and held that 925 stamp on them all. Already a fan & can't wait to get the other ring I won from ya! :)
I'll go try to find a magnet when I get home, I'm working on this from some one elses house.
I don;t see any stamp on it. I was told it was sterling silver when I bought it. Maybe I should be more careful. I do not intend to misrepresent anything.
Sorry for the confusion, I will check once I get home and post the results!
But, Like I said, this is only what I was told by the ebay seller. If you need this to be pure sterling silver. (I had no idea there was another kind of sterling silver...) you probably should look some where else.
I'm sorry I should have read up on Jewerly and metals before I started listing things. As I have said before a seller on ebay told me that it was a sterling silver band. This seller had a good feed back rating, so I figured it was true.
I did not intend to misrepresent my self or my story and I apolgige if I have caused inconvence to any of the bidders.
thats okay thanks for the offer but I am going to ship these back to her( I was thinking it was a guy but she left me her address lol) and let everyone else judge for themselves why (she) had to have Listia step in and decide the outcome. I dont like to have to get nasty with people and slam their name but sometimes people dont do the right thing, Im going to do the right thing and return them to her but I will watch and make sure she doesnt relist them as being sterling silver. she told me she listed lots of rings like this before just like the listing she did for these but I went back thru her listing s and there is not another exact listing, yes she listed silver colored rings once before but she did not claim those as being sterling silver. again thanks for the offer, I am going to be listing lots of s80 and white gold plated sterling rings this weekend and when I say lots I mean lots lol over 75 of them well closer to 100 haha so watch for them if you like shinys lol
Oh, Shinies. Do you take concealed cash in your auctions? Because I haven;t cleared up some funk with my bank acoutn attached to my paypall ever sense my local bank got taken over by some facless corperation.
