If you happened to read the description it says they are currently serving overseas. I'm sure it's not easy to respond. you act like these can't be purchased.. They can and I have seen these sell for pretty cheap especially in this condition. This is a great auction, and if you have an issue with it then get out of the comment section.

To the seller: great auction! And thanks for serving!

I doubt it is. Especially seeing they never answered you! They're not offering any verification. If it were real, would it REALLY be on Listia for 43,000 credits?

Oh, you got me.I have no choice but to come clean. I have been running a coin company for years just pass this fake coin off as the real deal. I should not be trusted! -despite my trust worthy badges and seller history or even my reputation. Well it is about time that someone like you pointed all this out to my buyers and my fans. Well, your work is done here -go home and tell yourself that you saved the day. Thanks Hero.

Aaron718 and terryremillard-- rachelmccoy98 is right, these coins are a lot more common than you might think. There have been coin catalogues available to help identify these since at least the 1800's and there are now lots of online sites too. Many European countries don't include such coins on their protected antiquities lists because they are common enough that museums have more than they can deal with.
