Cable is like new. It works. PLEASE NOTE: this cable WILL NOT WORK with apple devices that have the latest software upgrade. Apple figured out how to make third party cables not work. This is one of those cables. You can get it to work if your apple device is jail broken. I do know the cable works because when i first purchased it, it worked. Later i updated the software on my iPad and it stopped working.
