The listing, Verizon BlackBerry Storm has ended.
i have a verizon blackberry storm that works great and has very few signs of wear. the only promblem is the battery went out so you have to purchase one. there $5 on amazon, comes with usb charger. no free shipping you will have to send money order. so i can ship due to my job status box is 5.60 and i can calculate shipping cost. have a great day and happy bidding.
Well he's half right and half wrong. Not every blackberry has a sim card, i have 3 right here, none of which have sim cards. The person who said Verizon doesnt use sim cards is correct, they dont. BUT, this is a dual band world phone, thats for buisness travels who go overseas and want the phone to switch bands automatically without having to do anything special or making any calls to customer service. So he's right there, but normally, with the exception of literally a couple phones, Verizon does not use sim cards. And to be more exact, even in this case, verizon does not USE the sim/gsm band of this phone, they're using the cdma band while your in the united states, you just never notice obviously. But once you land in another country, it auto switches to gsm. You can read all about this phone on RIM's website, the chinese have cloned these phones and made a really bad copy of the dual band models. However, ive never heard of being a verizon customer for 60 days and they unlock your phone. Verizon is like AT&T and they have a very strict no unlock policy, UNLESS you complete your 2 year contract and dont owe any money. That is the only time ive known either company to unlock any of their phones. My friend works for VErizon, ill have to get some details on this. Thanks for the info though, thats very interesting.
and if anyone else wants to argue the fact of the whole sim card deal look in the second pic if you look close in the middle of the phone you can see the verizon logo and that my listia buddys is the sim card
Are there any other accessories, box, paperwork, etc. included? You can get the small flat-rate box for free at the post office and it costs $5.20 to mail...
really? ill have to look into it i put 10 encase theres other payments but when auction ends i will give exact amount, i have usb charger with wall outlet and maybe a case. i do not have paperwork, its a phone i had for a while and left verizon so i dont have the stuff anymore
hey mac, i talked to a guy a verizon and he told me that the only reason it would need the sim card would be if you were going over seas. but you can contact customer care and get a new sim if you need one.
http://www.rimarkable.com/is-the-verizon-blackberry-storm-a-world-phone. That is the link to follow if you honestly don't think it has a sim card slot. The Blackberry Storm is a world phone, therefore it has a sim slot to be able to be used over seas.
Well I hate to tell you but the Blackberry Storm has a sim card in it. If you don't believe me, ask any verizon employee about them. It has a memory card slot and a sim slot.
verizon does not use sim cards it only takes a memory card n it cant b unlocked there is no place for a sim i have had verizon for 14 years only phones that take sim is the thunderbolt n the iphone 4
