Yes I know that, I can tell by looking at her picture and besides you stated she was from OK factory, which was a factory that Coleco used to make cabbage patch kids. from what year is she from Coleco made them from 1983-1989 (1988)? Also I do not like the new ones very much basically I only like the Coleco ones. What color is her signature? Black= 1983, Green= 1984, Blue= 1985, Red=1986, Bluish-green/ Turquoise/ Teal-1987, Purple=1988, Pink = 1989? (not sure)

I know, he's keeper he started collecting cabbage patch baseball kids this past year three days after he got the last time/ completed his collection our house got broken into and stole all of his dolls, he refuses to re-collect, but he supports me if I decided to go crazy and collect a large number of cabbage patch kids, but I think now I am happy with the six I have.

My other half has furskin bears, I started him on them. The first one I got him was hand signed by Xavier Roberts for 7.50 off ebay. The lady was upset that she didn't stop the auction before it ended that cheap.

Most of them are set now as secret or private groups, so you cannot search for them anymore. You have to have a friend add you. I think this is mostly because people did not want certain people they have as friends to be weirded out or see what they are posting. Some people think it is weird that adults still play/ collect dolls. Jakks is the current maker they have made them since 2001 beginning with the TRU kids (only sold at toys r us from 2001-2004 or 2005, this were larger and were like $80) I have one that I got mint for $5 off of craigslist a year ago. Later this year or this year the new company starts making them I think they come out this summer or fall. They look the same as the current in my opinion.

Yeah I wanted one when they first came out, but I just could not see paying 60, 70. 80 dollars for a cabbage patch doll and then a year ago I was looking on craigslist and found one in my area the woman said she was new just no box or papers and for only $5, I got her asking people in the cabbage patch collecting groups they all were willing to take her if I did not want her just get her and we could make a deal. At the time the outfit she was in was going for $50 used, this was the whole doll clothes never been removed still new doll smell baby powder/ vanilla clean mint condition, so of course I had to do it right. After all if I did not like her I could sell her for more than the $5 I paid many times over. So that is how I got her, but I have not touched her in a year since I got her, I sort of felt guilty getting her since I had decided that the four dolls I had was enough forever. I know that is a strong statement. But I love her and my husband loves her so I could not sell her, he will not let me forget that we drove all over town to find this house to pick her up. I think it was the first thing that my husband bought me after we got married , we have been married a few weeks over a year. So at the time I think we had been married maybe a week or two.
