The reverse side of the Missouri State Quarter highlights Lewis and Clark's historic return to St. Louis down the Missouri River, with the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial Gateway Arch in the the background. The reverse side of the Missouri State Quarter was designed by Alfred Maletsky. This 2003-D Missouri State Quarter is from the DENVER Mint. All State Quarters are comprised of .750 copper and .250 nickel with a weight of 5.67 grams and a diameter of 24.3mm. These Missouri State Quarter come from original U.S. Mint Proof Sets.
