Am pleased to offer for bid this 2001-D New York GOLD plated State Quarter. The theme of the New York State Quarter is "Gateway to Freedom." New York was admitted into the Union on July 26th of 1788. The reverse side of the New York State Quarter features an image of the Statue of Liberty, the state outline, and 11 stars that represents its position when admitted into the Union. The reverse side of the New York State Quarter was designed by Alfred Maletsky. This 2001-D New York BU State Quarter is from the Denver (D) Mint. All State Quarters are comprised of .750 copper and .250 nickel with a weight of 5.67 grams and a diameter of 24.3mm. This State Quarter have nice eye appeal and no major marks or visible problems. This New York gold plated State Quarter represents a great value for the price.
