You left out Matin Landeau as Bela Lagosi. He received the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor as I recall. I actually watched the Academy Award that year. They cut off his acceptance speech, and a bunch of people got upset. He does a fantastic job in this film as the drug addicted has-been Lagosi...very moving. Ladeau outshines Depp (who is so use to playing over the top....this role being no exception), a fine actor in his own right.

I researched Landeau and this film (Wikipedia) and found out that Burton approached Depp and "within 10 minutes of hearing about the project, I was committed," Depp remembers. At the time, he was depressed about films and filmmaking. By accepting this part, it gave him a "chance to stretch out and have some fun", and working with Martin Landau, "rejuvenated my love for acting," Depp said.
