I understand Luke but like you said originally without proof you should not say it as it makes you look bad and the reason I said what I said was if you read on his profile the only neg feedback ha has is from a phone that the seller said once he won he did not want to pay the S&H charges so like you say call it as it is he may be right and she is a scam I have been burnt on here twice so far and have not been here that long so I understand what you are saying but I also have met and bought some great stuff from some interesting people the least to say but I understand and respect your points as you have been longer than me but just because it is suspicious does not make you crooked anyway I friended you and agree with you but I do like Listia so I think I will hang in there for the long haul like helping people get stuff they other wise could not but I am saving some of the better stuff until I get my wings lol

I would some what agree with you jon, but I did look at her facebook page, and she looks like shes about 21. If she signed up and completed a 2 year contract and the ESN is clear, that means she signed up when she was 19, or is under her parents or other family members plan. I do believe she has the phone, however im not sure if its legitimately for sale and going to get shipped. If you've been on Listia for any amount of time longer then a month, then you already know that in the electronics catagories there is by far more fake auctions then real, by far. Most smarter expierenced users have painfully learned this lesson, sometimes more then once, and usually dont bid on high risk electronics, such as this, unless the buyer has some selling expierence, or has their trusted seller badge, AND is bank and phone number confirmed. This person has none of that. That leads me to believe, only based on my own past personal expierence, that this auction is not real. So unfortunetly, even though I dont like the way that kyonrox said it, he's most likely correct.

Probably wants it for him/herself so they do not want anyone else to bid so they could get it for next to nothing at least you should give the seller a chance to prove themselves as honest or dishonest instead of just saying something you have no idea about to ruin someones rep on a site where it truly means a lot

Not that i dont believe you, as its an unprobable auction for a 1st listing, but can i ask how you came to that conclusion? Because to come right out and make such a bold statement on someones auction page would usually require proof or if she reported you your own account could be in jeopardy. Its ok to bring up what you think is strange about an auction, but to tell people not to bid and its a scam, you need something to back that up with.

u might get more bids for your auctions if you offer to ship even if you have to request payment for shipping thru paypal..alot of people prefer paypal anyway.. just a suggestion :) oh and it only take a second to get phone verification so people know your not a spook auction..they call u with an automated pin number to add to your verification page and thats it..put in the code and they verify you as a valid member!!
