Description

The listing, WOW! Full Surround Sound from Your MP3 Player from this Tiny Speaker! has ended.

I had won two of these on an auction site and only really needed one (well, hubby uses the other a LOT more than I do like when he's working in the yard, washing vehicles, etc.)

This Vulcan Technology Phantom Solo Speaker with Surface Fusion Technology does these key things to your mp3 player:

* Transform your tabletop surface into mini sound stations

* Experience 360-degree sound with just one speaker

* Ideal for computers, notebooks, netbooks and audioplayers

* Use as a conference call speaker

* Portable and rechargeable with built-in lithium battery.

I just opened this one for the first time (so it's brand new) to show you the contents and its connections---and I used tried it on my mp3 player to make sure it worked.

To REALLY hear what this does, see this video: youtube.com/watch?v=FHcgLQ71PZA

It will blow you away!!!

It comes with its pouch, hookup/charger combo cable, and full instructions.

I'm allowing for extra time on this listing so people have a chance to save their credits.

Added Note: I've used ours in the bathroom on the counter when taking a bath and it sounds like I'm in a live recording studio. It's incredible!

You can use it for anything that takes a 3.5mm plug. Thanks for asking because there is a difference between 2.5 and 3.5 for sure! I'm not sure what an iPod takes....???

Better with surround sound if your system has a 3.5mm outlet. Most desktops do so I think you'd be fine. It's just a tad bigger than a tiny outlet for some mp3 players but, to my knowledge, there is an outlet for most desktops for a 3.5mm plug?

Anyone wish to comment on this? I do my desktop, mp3 player and ebook audio player all work with a 3.5mm speaker.

And, oh my gosh, wait until you hear the sound!!! My husband and I sat it on our glass table in our dining room and it filled the house with fantastic sound! This "surface fusion technology" is pretty "blow your mind" amazing! That's why I will not part with the other WE have.

Correct. Any solid flat surface creates the 'surround sound.' That's "fusion technology."

Just a quick side note: These (silver) sell for $40.00. The black ones sell for $50.

What's amazing is getting surround sound out of anything that takes a 3.5mm plug. It fills the room/house with incredible 'live-like' sound. It's truly amazing.

Well just for the record, you can go to Radio Shack, possibly Wal-Mart, or just on ebay even, and buy a Jack Adpater for very cheap money, probably $5 or maybe less. And you can get one that will adapt a 2.5mm plug to a 3.5mm and vice versa. Theres adapters for everything now a days, you name it, its out there. But im positive theres jack adapters because I use to have one, and i got mine at my local Radio Shack. I included it in an old ipod/speaker sale a while back. Just giving potential bidders a heads up. This is very similar to the new Scosh speaker. Not sure if I spelled that right, but that is a small speaker also just like this. Its like the newest popular thing to have for your ipod/ipad. Small, portable, loud, convienent, and doesnt cost much. I think the scosh is cheaper, and i havent heard good things about how loud it gets, and i heard the bass wasnt that great. From what ive been reading this is much better, but I want to hear one right here on my desk. Added to my favs, ill drop a bid in on the last day and hope for the best, lol. Thanks!

Thank you so much for the info!

Yeah, this IS loud; fills the room and is PERFECT for playing mp3's on a computer. I've tried our other one in the kitchen and heard it from the other side of the house in the master bedroom.

I wasn't aware of there being another type out there and I'm very grateful you did a super review on here between the two types.

What's pretty incredible is the bass, in particular. Whatever surface you place it on, you can FEEL the base resonating through that entire area. It's crazy awesome, no doubt about it!
