The listing, Gorgeous Vintage Handpainted Russian Black Lacquer Egg Trinket Box has ended.

Simply beautiful vintage egg trinket box. Russian black lacquer with stunning hand painted flowers. The paint is very heavy like an enamel, so the flowers are raised, giving it a 3D effect. Unsigned. No chips or cracks.

This is not from a smoke or pet free home, & many of my items come from estates, so if you have a sensitive nose, you may not want to bid on my items.

It is unsigned. I purchased from a reputable dealer as Russian & did my homework on line in many places to compare the painting. I believe it to be Russian as stated when I purchased it. There are many unsigned pieces in circulation.

This is beautiful!! I have Russian Nesting Dolls & the colors/patterns are same style. Many pieces like this do not have a hallmark but that doesn't mean they aren't authentic. Fabulous auction! Your fan & watching :)
