Would this hold a pit? I have a medium size red nose and he chews through every leash I buy, so maybe this one will work.

The stainless steel link chain is not really big as you can see in the picture. Each chain measure 1/4 inches wide, but its strong. Not sure if this will work on you pit, it also depends on the weight of the dog. Also, make sure to measure the circumference of the dog's neck if the collar will fit to hold him.
