Beautiful sterling silver vintage broach. The design features a lovely oak leaf that has fine detailing which looks brushed or etched into the leaf. There is a single pearl in the middle of the oak leaf. The leaf sits on a twirled circle of silver. The broach is 1 1/4 in. by 1 1/2 in. This piece is exquisite, and in remarkably good condition!
I bought this broach at an estate sale. This piece is marked ..Sterling CR.co. in an oval on the back. From what I found researching it, this broach is made by COHN & ROSENBERGER. The earliest incarnation of CORO. From the markings it is an early piece, 1919 or earlier. Fashionable women of the 1920's wore COHN & ROSENBERGER.
