The listing, Antique Spoon has ended.

This is a hand carved spoon that my mom inherited from her grandmother. It has some lumps as you can see in the picture. I just dont know what to do with it. Perhaps there is someone who would like it.

Thank you for asking. I think I was half asleep when I posted my items. I did not include a lot of details that I intending to include. On the back of the spoon is a tiny emblem in the shape of a shield with a tiny arm and handle in the shield.. There is also the word "coin" on the back. The front has the word, "Sarah" inscripted on the handle.

The arm and hammer inside a shield is a maker's mark. This is a very old spoon and the fact that it's marked "coin" on the back means that it has a very high silver content, hence the dings in the spoon. I estimate it to be from the 1800's, maybe older. Please bid accordingly!
