This is the V10 life humidifier ,it put out a fine cool mist model : VMH101. This great item will put out a fine cool mist and has a.light that is continually changing colors. The light looks best in a darkend room. A 16 oz bottle is to hold the water. I found out bottled water works well. It has a`adapter that comes with it.

The bottle I have in the pi ture does not have to be used with the humidifier it was the only one I could find to picture with to show you use your own bottle with it.as long as the top of the bottle fits the humidifier opening you use any bottle you want.

Hi, I am really sorry about taking so long to respond, yes it works just fine. It runs with a fine cool mist that comes out and when you turn the lite on it lites the mist as it comes out, it is really nice. You will have a pretty rainbow effect as the mist is putting moisture into your room to help you when you have a cold or with alergies. Have a great day.
