Excuse my ignorance but what kind of fabric is this and how hard is it to work with? I am a relative beginner and would love to use this as lining...does it fray a lot? I noticed the edges are hemmed.

I find it easy to work with and no it does not fray a lot. I made a beauty bell dress for grand daughter for dress up and used toole under neath ,its a very lite sateen fabric,would make great curtain backing or sheers for accent
