Free Shipping in the US - see shipping details below
Package of 15 seeds, hand-collected by me from healthy plants.

This is a showy plant with a beautiful stalk of flowers that some relish as a favorite wild food.
The fruits are also edible and said to taste somewhat like a sweet potato when baked.
It is found in rocky desert soils, grasslands and open woods throughout the southwestern United States.
Grows native here in the high elevation reaches of northern New Mexico, They seem to have an amazing tolerance to dry summers and snowy winters. Of the few that grow on my property, they need no upkeep. Their beautiful spring blooms add a nice touch of color to any xeriscape.

These seeds are not commercially available, meaning you cannot find them from your local garden center or seed catalogs!

SHIPPING:
Due to Customs Regulations, I am unable to guarantee shipment of seeds or live plants outside of US borders. No international bidders, please.
Thank you.

This will be shipped via First Class Mail without delivery confirmation. I rely on the honesty of the winner to leave positive feedback, when item is received. If winning bidder wishes for other delivery options, it will be at winner's expense, payable via paypal, money order or concealed cash.

RECYCLE
I try my best to reuse all my boxes, bags, and fillers. Please try to do the same. Fact: Each ton (2000 lbs) of recycled paper we produce can save 17 trees, 380 gallons of oil, three cubic yards of landfill space, 4000 kilowatts of energy, and 7000 gallons of water. This represents a 64% energy savings, a 58% water savings, and 60 pounds less of air pollution!

NOTE TO BIDDERS: I tend to throw in a separate packet of 5 Soapweed Yucca seeds as a bonus when the bid gets to 100 credits or more. I also throw a couple of extras in the packet of Banana Yucca Seeds, too. So you get more than the 15 seeds stated in the description.

Question & Answer from previous listing:
--> Q: How tall do these plants grow?
--> A: Around here, they appear to max out at about 3 feet tall and can get to 4-5 feet in diameter. I've provided a lot of search words in the description including the scientific name. There so many species of yucca that includes BOTH trees AND plants.
The Banana Yucca is a plant species. They are slow growers, but well worth the wait *^_^*

I'm personally in search of some of the tree species - will trade. I will also be harvesting seeds from a friend's Red Yucca plant in the near future.
