A funny and interesting cookbook for the single guy. I love cookbooks so I got it just for entertainment and recipes. But it may be better off with someone that can get the real use out of it. The description on cover says, Use this cookbook to gain a new sense of self accomplishment and self-esteem, put more romance in your life, build stronger family relationships, eat healthier, feel better. The author is very entertaing to read and recipes are simple yet delicious! Avery fun cookbook!

81/2 by 11, it is paperback, but very sturdylaminate type cover. It's hard to say how many recipes exactly without counting, which I could do later, but there are 10 menus for all the meals of the week, 37 menus for major social occassions. Menu recipes are together so you don't have to search page to page, meal preperation schedules, detailed shopping lists, easy to follow recipes, large print, lies flat when opened. there are additional lined pages in the back for notes or your own recipes, never been written in. :) hope this helps.
