This little pamphlet was distributed by MOLINA HEALTHCARE, It gives a lot of pertinent and informative information about the disease Diabetes such as the different types (Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, and Gestational Diabetes), what the difference in each type are, how they are treated. It also describes the ABC's of Diabetes: A. A1c: this test shows the average blood sugar for the last 2-3 months as well as what a diabetic"s goal level should be as well as the risks involve if you are over the goal.

B. Blood Pressure: The blood pressure goal is less than 130/80. If left untreated, high blood pressure will make your heart work too heart and can cause a heart attack, stroke and kidney disease.

C. Cholesterol: Cholesterol numbers tell the amount of fat in your blood. There are 2 types of cholesterol, the bad cholesterol (LDL) than can clog your blood vessels, and the good cholesterol (yes, there is such a thing as "good cholesterol" which helps to remove bad cholesterol from the blood vessels.
