Description

The listing, HIBISCUS CANNABINUS (YELLOW) AKA KENAF: 50+ SEEDS ~ YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS ~ has ended.

**This is an auction for a mix of over 50 creme/yellow flowering plant seeds that have a dark burgundy colored throat: Hibiscus Cannabinus or "Kenaf" seeds

*"Kenaf" is the common name for hibiscus cannabinus, it is in the genus Hibiscus and is probably native to southern Asia, though its exact natural origin is unknown. This auction is a mixture of red and yellow flowering Kenaf.
*The name "Kenaf" also applies to the fibre obtained from this plant. Kenaf is one of the allied fibres of jute and shows similar characteristics.
*Kenaf is an annual or biennial herbaceous plant 5 feet to 11.5 feet. Good for hedges or creating a privacy area.
*These plants grow like crazy in virtually any soil, I live in FL and we have mostly sand.
*Kenaf is a self-seeder, their pods burst open and they sow themselves! Very easy to plant, transplant, care for, etc...
*Full sun, happy in almost any soil. I am in US Zone 10, I would recommend Kenaf for zones 6-10, but if you have a greenhouse, you can grow them anywhere. We recently had a cold snap (below 34F) & the Kenafs were left uncovered & they were just fine!
**Any other questions feel free to ask.
*These seeds were harvested this year (2015)
Good luck and happy bidding!
If you don't win this auction, don't worry, there will be more Kenaf seeds listed soon!
**ALL LISTIA RULES APPLY**
**I CAN'T SHIP TO AN UNVERIFIED ADDRESS**
**IF I DO NOT RECEIVE YOUR SHIPPING INFO WITHIN 7 DAYS OF THE AUCTION ENDING, I WILL BE UPSET & KEEP YOUR CREDITS, BUT I WILL SEND YOU YOUR SEEDS ANYWAY...in other words, only bid if you really want these sends, please send your verified Listia shipping address ASAP & I usually mail the next day**

NOTE: THIS IS A HIBISCUS PLANT!! NOT A MARIJUANA PLANT, THE LEAVES APPEAR TO BE SIMILAR THUS THE NAME: HIBISCUS CANNABINUS.

Thanks for the information! Always appreciated! :) Of course they're not for smoking, they're for looking at :) The leaves just resemble cannibus foliage, moreso on the red variation, nonetheless, it is a hardy, gorgeous addition to anyones' garden, and extremely easy to plants & care for! Thanks for checking out my auction!

I'm completely aware that you can't & should not smoke this, it is a hibiscus - most hibiscus species buds & flowers you can boil, add spices & sugar to make beverages - even common hibiscus. :) Thanks for the link!
