antique silver looking pentagram protection pendent
no stamps or marks pendent is as big as a quarter as you can see in the pictures or could be used as a charm

the words are for protection from evil and evil influences.

Those four letters are the Hebrew letter Yod He Vah He. Often you will see the English equivalent written as YHVH. In Herbrew it is the name (or at least one of the names) of Yahweh, better known as God now. He is still called Yahweh many times in the bible. Many Wiccans, especially those with a more ceremonialist bent will wear that sort of pentacle because even those it is Judeo-Christian in origin, it is considered to be highly protective. So rest assured it is not a bad thing.

Pentacle the point of the star points up always. To us wiccans / Pagans etc.. we use this the most.

And the evil side of this which people get confused is the pentagram. please look up both definitions and erase the pentagram definition the star points down on a pentagram not upwards. When its pointing down its the same as turning the Christian cross upside down. To sum this up....

Pentagram = Evil

Pentacle = Good

a pentagram/pentacle is worn by wiccans mostly as their cross ...as like christians wear a cross ......this is what it represents
