The listing, Used Canon PowerShot A510 (SHORT TERM AUCTION) has ended.

Unlike my other Canon Point and Shoot listed this week, This camera is fully functional... including the viewer on the back. The outer shutter's spring is appraently streched out of shape or something, as it only opens part way and has to have a manuel assist. This does not effect the appature, which opens and closes just fine when the button is pushed.A minor inconvenience.

When I was in college (late '90's-'02... in the stone age. lol), the school had a darkroom and we used something called "film", developing it in a series of trays with chemicals, and loaded our camera's in a dark closet...... if you can imagine it, before digital cameras! Then the school began talking about doing away with the darkroom and establishing a "digitally based program." Aye, eye, aye! The students went into rebellion. Of course, Oregon and (I think) New Jersey or Rhode Island, are the only states where you cannot pump your own gas. In some places the folks simply embrace tradition and resist conformity. Boy, am I proud to be an Oregonian and work hard to "Keep Portland Weird."

No, but I will gladly through one in that I have that doesn't have a power cord (four batteries at a time) if the bid reaches 5000
